The "Startchancen" programme for a better educational start in life provides targeted support for schools that face challenging conditions. It creates appealing learning environments – through investment in infrastructure, social work in schools and an “opportunities budget” which is at the schools’ free disposal. So that every child can decide where life takes them – no matter what their background.
